Forest Avenue Revitalization
The Forest Avenue Corridor lies between Martin Luther King (MLK) Drive and 25th Street and serves as an entrance to Drake University. In 2002 the City of Des Moines initiated a revitalization program along the Forest Avenue Corridor to create a clean, safe, and pedestrian-friendly environment through mixed-use residential and commercial development. NDC has made several property purchases in the area and intends to work closely with the City of Des Moines to revitalize this corridor.
